Dream Wall

Dream Wall

The 'Dream Wall' is a dual-sided LED art installation, offering an immersive and interactive experience. The installation includes four distinct scenes, two by Joshua and two by Responsve (Simon Burgin), each providing a distinct interactive interface.

The first scene, 'Bioluma', takes inspiration from the natural wonder of bioluminescence. It presents a visual of waves crashing, imbued with glowing organisms. As viewers engage with the installation, their movements are translated into the creation of new, luminous waves, mimicking the ebb and flow of an illuminated ocean.

The second scene, 'Slipstream', is an intricate dance of particles. Here, participants find themselves controlling an expanding swarm of points, directing their flow as they twist and turn, creating ever-changing patterns. This interactive element offers a sense of control and wonder as viewers shape the trajectory of the particles.

Creative oversight for these scenes was provided by Kit Webster, whose artistic direction brought depth and coherence to the visual elements.

In addition, Responsve (Simon Burgin) contributed two more pieces to the installation, expanding the variety and depth of the interactive experience.

The installation was further enhanced by a series of dance performances, choreographed by Jo Lloyd. These performances were held each weekend, with the interactive works of the Dream Wall serving as a dynamic and responsive backdrop.

The Dream Wall invites viewers to not only observe but to become an integral part of the artistic process.
